dua kumayl thursday - An Overview
وَّعَلَى أَلْسُنٍ نَّطَقَتْ بِتَوْحِيدِكَ صَادِقَةً وَّبِشُكْرِكَ مَادِحَةًWhilst he laments to You with the lament of one hopeful for the mercy. Forgive each individual sin that I've committed and each mistake that I have erred O Allah! This enhlish prayer differs from the alternative liturgical prayer of salat. I appear earnestly toward Thee and to Thee, my Lord!
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي الذُّنُوبَ الَّتِي تَقْطَعُ الرََّّجَاءَ
s.), 'Allah may well protect you through the evils of the enemies as well as the plots contrived by impostors. O' Kumayl! in thought of your respective companionship and knowing, I grant you this honour of entrusting this 'Du'a' to you.
Or how should really he have hope within your bounty in releasing him from it, Whilst you abandonest him within it? O Allah, verily I search for nearness to You through remembrance of You. O Thou who shall exist once the very last!
And I remind myself before grading the dua, in reality any dua, and its attribution to your infallibles (as) by the strategy of judging its material and its eloquence; that we even have a considerable selection of supplications from rest of the Muslim scholars [from other sects], in actual fact even from non-Muslims [for example here Psalms from the Hebrew Bible, Hindu Vedas scriptures and so forth].
وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ الضَّعِيفُ الذَّلِيلُ الْحَقِيرُ الْمِسْكِينُ الْمُسْتَكِينُ
Bestow on me for that sake of the obtaining given increase [to me] with generosity as well as your preceding goodness to me! Thou art conscious of my weak point to bear even a slight affliction of this planet and its consequence and adversity affecting the denizen of this earth, Even though this sort of afflictions are momentary, short-lived and transient.

وَحُبِسَ بَيْنَ أَطْبَاقِهَا بِجُرْمِهِ وَجَرِيرَتِهِ
And by the choice which You hast identified and imposed and by which You hast defeat him toward whom it has been place into impact.
أن تَجْعَلَ أَوْقَاتِي فِي اللَّيلِ وَالنَّهَارِ بِذِكْرِكَ مَعْمُورَةً،
أَوْ تُسْلِّمَ إِلىَ الْبلاءِ مَن كَفَيْتَهُ وَرَحِمْتَهُ
